SeaWorld's Christmas Celebration

SeaWorld gets decked out for the holiday season with a number of holiday celebrations that the entire family will love. From Santa’s Cottage to breakfast with Shamu and Santa, the kids will love coming to SeaWorld during the holidays – especially for the snow! Once again, SeaWorld has transformed the Arctic Plaza into a haven for snow-filled flurries, with snowmen, snowballs and snow angels. More than 6,500 of the icy stuff is brought in daily so families can enjoy just a little bit of that white Christmas everyone talks about from November 16 through January 4th. Parents can enjoy sipping a hot cup of cocoa on the deck while watching the little ones sled down the hill, or join in the fun with snowballs and snowmen.

SeaWorld pulls out all the stops during the annual Christmas Celebration – not only does snow come to San Diego, but so does Santa! Meet Santa in his festive cottage just outside Seaport Village, and get a special portrait taken with the big guy. Families will love decorating Christmas cookies and meeting some of Santa’s special helpers as well. The little ones will also love meeting SeaWorld’s own reindeers-in-training! Jingles and Winter are two of Santa’s reindeer-in-training who will be out vacationing in sunny San Diego until they’re ready to assist the boss up at the North Pole. Visit with friends and family, and enjoy walking around the park’s colorful decorations that include SeaWorld’s awe-inspiring 320-foot Christmas Tree of Lights, a San Diego tradition since 1969. And if you’ve got the time, make sure to reserve advanced tickets to share eggs with Shamu and Santa for a special Breakfast with these holiday characters that happens only during the holidays.
