La Jolla Sea Lions at the Childrens Pool
Likely the area's "smallest" beach, the La Jolla Children's Pool is one of the more unique and eclectic attractions around. Humans-families, surfers, and children, of course-aren't the only ones who enjoy the spot. Local seals sun themselves on and around the beach, which has filled in a bit since its creation in the 1930's. At times, hundreds nap on the warm sand, allowing for great photos. Continue reading
