Rejoice in thousands of students’ most memorable academic milestone: graduation day! Soon-to-be UCSD graduates spend the weekend of June 14th and 15th walking across stages, moving tassels to the right, and tossing mortarboards. Each college hosts its own ceremony at a different time, though all undergraduate ceremonies are held at RIMAC Field. Commencement parking maps and directions are available for print and download online at https://students.ucsd.edu/academics/commencement/index.html. Graduate students’ ceremonies differ between schools and take place on different days; more information is available at each individual school’s website.
In addition to the commencement ceremonies over the weekend, UCSD will be hosting other services and parties. The larger-scale All-Campus Graduation Celebration is the most popular of these events, hosted at RIMAC Field. All graduating students and their families are welcome—both undergraduates and graduates alike. Enjoy food and drink with the rest of the 2014 graduating class! The aforementioned website offers a more detailed list of times, ticket purchasing sites, and more. Congratulations, and see you out there!
